Kat completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy at Australian Catholic University in 2017, but has been working in private practice for over 10 years. She is currently undertaking further study, with her Masters of Sports and Exercise physiotherapy. Kat was the full time rehabilitation physiotherapist for the Queensland Reds Super Rugby team in 2022, and previous to that worked for Brothers Rugby up to premier grade for over 5 years.
Kat was previously competing as a professional triathlete, racing multiple years internationally. Her achievements include racing at the Ironman World Championships and Olympic distance world Championships, plus multiple pro and elite podiums throughout her career. She is now still competing as an elite level cyclist in Brisbane, where she is also a triathlon coach, and has co-founded her own triathlon squad, Core 4 Endurance. Working with beginner and elite triathletes, Kat understands the musculoskeletal requirements for endurance performance, and specialises in running and cycling biomechanics for optimal performance and injury prevention.
Kat performs dry needling, has pilates experience and has completed further study in women’s health.
