Dietitian Consultations in Brisbane

At an initial consultation each patient will receive individualised nutrition advice and a plan which is developed based on their personal health goals.

This is what you can expect at your first appointment with our dietitian.

  1. Assessment: A thorough assessment of a person’s diet and habits which may be impacting their health will be carried out. It is at this point that our dietitian will gather and record relevant data, such as weight and amount of body fat.Our dietitian is also able to determine a person’s Resting Metabolic Rate with the use of a MEDGEM device.
  1. Education: Following this initial assessment, our dietitian will be able to offer more information about specific areas of interest or concern.
  1. Set Goals: Our dietitian works with each client to determine their health and nutrition-related goals.
  1. Develop Program: Together with the client, our dietitian will develop a personalised and manageable program that will put patients on the right track to accomplishing those goals.

*At subsequent appointments our dietitian will assess progress and if needed will make any changes to your nutrition plan.
