FAQS
What is occupational therapy?
Occupational therapy (OT) is a type of healthcare that helps people do the everyday activities they want or need to do—like getting dressed, cooking, working, or playing—especially after an injury, illness, or due to a disability. In simple terms: occupational therapists help people live their lives more independently and comfortably. They work with kids, adults, and older people to improve their ability to do daily tasks, whether that means:
· Helping a child with developmental delays learn to hold a pencil.
· Teaching someone how to cook after a stroke.
· Modifying a home to make it easier for someone with arthritis to get around.
It’s all about making life easier and more doable.
What Qualifications Do Occupational Therapists Hold?
