Matthew graduated from the Australian Catholic University with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2021. He has entered the profession with the latest evidence to guide his treatment. He utilises both hands-on manual therapy skills with therapeutic exercise prescription as an adjunct. Matthew has a special interest in treating neck and lower back pain as well as lower limb injuries, in particular the knee. His unique ability to communicate and educate means you will leave with a thorough understanding of your condition and a tailored treatment plan to suit your needs and goals.
Matthew first became interested in physiotherapy at fourteen when he received treatment for his knee injuries from playing volleyball at school. He was fascinated by the physio’s ability to guide his recovery back to playing volleyball pain-free as soon as possible. Matthew has since been obsessed with the knee and is deeply passionate about helping developing athletes return to sport and stay injury-free. Matthew has experience working with a local football club and spent years volunteering with a local school volleyball team to develop his understanding of sporting injuries. Outside of work Matthew loves woodworking, hiking and continues to play volleyball.
