Sam is a highly experienced and dedicated physiotherapist who’s passionate about helping people move better, feel stronger, and get back to doing what they love. Since joining the North West Physiotherapy team in 2019, Sam has helped hundreds of clients recover from injury, improve their performance, and confidently return to sport.
With a strong background in sports physiotherapy, Sam has worked with elite-level athletes and teams across multiple codes. He supported Queensland’s junior indoor and beach volleyball teams at national championships for three consecutive years and has worked with the Australian men’s volleyball team at national camps and events. He’s also brought his clinical skills to fast-paced, high-pressure environments, including a season as a ski patroller in Canada.
Outside the sporting arena, he has a strong interest in neurological rehabilitation and works extensively with clients through the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). His calm and compassionate approach has supported people of all ages living with brain injuries, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Parkinson’s disease, stroke, and multiple sclerosis.
Sam has completed advanced training in the treatment of complex knee, shoulder, neck, and back conditions. He’s always expanding his knowledge to ensure his clients benefit from the latest, evidence-based approaches.
When you book with Sam, you can expect exceptional care, clear and easy-to-understand guidance, and a treatment plan tailored to your goals. He takes the time to educate you about your condition in a way that makes sense, so you feel informed, confident, and in control.
