Paul graduated from Queensland University of Technology in 2024 and moved to Wollongong for a working holiday. The work life balance of living at the beach was an invaluable experience and gave him enough time to reflect on where he wanted to take his career. During uni Paul worked in an orthotics lab part time for several years building hands on skills in custom made devices to help feet return from injury.
Paul has always enjoyed staying fit through running and cycling and after a few of his own foot and ankle injuries decided that sports podiatry was both challenging and rewarding. Having a keen interest in the intersection where podiatry meets running and cycling is the direction he wants to explore to blend his hobby into his professional career.
When not working or training, Paul flies fixed wing gliders as a solo pilot
