BUPA Preferred Physio
So, you’re probably wondering how we are chosen as a BUPA preferred physio?
BUPA have selected a number of practices throughout Brisbane to become part of their Preferred Provider Network.
All practices must meet BUPA guidelines of professional standards and quality of care. Positions in this network are very limited and are not available to all physiotherapy practices.
Our Everton Park and Eatons Hill clinics are currently both part of the Provider Network but stay tuned for updates on our Keperra practice joining the BUPA preferred list as well.
Benefits for BUPA Customers
If you are a BUPA customer and you come into our practice you have the benefit of a known set price for your physio services and a higher rebate from BUPA for attending one of their preferred providers.
These two things combine to create a very low out of pocket cost for patients. The out of pocket cost is often less than $10 and can often be zero for children under 25 years of age (please check with your fund for your exact level of cover).
To be able to take advantage of BUPA preferred practices, most people with private health cover will also require extras cover on top of normal items. Your health fund can provide details of your individual level of cover if you are unsure.
