At North West Physiotherapy Nundah, we offer numerous classes each week suitable for all ages and fitness levels. We even have a set mums and bubs class for expectant and new mums.
Pilates offers a great workout for everyone, and many of the exercises carried out during class focus on strengthening the core region of the body.
Our class participants see a range of advantages, including increased muscle tone and muscle balance, improved posture, flexibility and range of movement, as well as enhanced stamina and vitality.

Nundah is just a short drive from Brisbane’s CBD (a little less than 10 kilometres NNE of the city), and our clinic is conveniently located on the corner of Sandgate Road and Station Street.
We have 5 Pilates classes at our Nundah clinic each week.
- Tuesday 5 pm
- Tuesday 6 pm
- Wednesday 9 am
- Saturday 7 am
- Saturday 8 am
We also hold a mums and bubs class at 9am on Thursdays.
Our classes are 45-minutes-long and can have a maximum of 6 participants.

What to expect from our Brisbane Pilates classes
Classes are matwork-based and will include the use of some small apparatus, including circle (ring), fitball, theraband and sliders.
During the class, participants will be guided through a program to build a strong, balanced body and increase flexibility.
If need be, modifications will be provided depending on individual needs, conditions or injuries.
About our Brisbane Pilates Instructor
Emma Betson started practising Pilates at 14-years-old to enhance her classical ballet training.
She started teaching group Pilates classes in 2015, and since then has worked with a range of abilities and health pathologies.
Due to her diploma training, which focused on rehabilitation instruction, she can work with a wide variety of Pilates apparatus, including Reformer, Cadillac, Spine Corrector, Wunda Chair, Barrells.
In 2020, she was instrumental in creating a new reformer-based studio on the Sunshine Coast and helped with the overall concept, programming, studio procedures and policies, and recruiting. She managed this studio while opening a second location at North Lakes.
Emma now conducts private and semi-private Pilates classes at studios around Brisbane and North West Physio’s Nundah clinic.
Her qualifications include:
- Diploma of professional Pilates instruction (2020)
- Currently studying Advanced Diploma of the Pilates Method
- Reformer certification (2015)
- Matwork Certification (2016)
- Bachelor of Psychology (2003 QUT)
- Bachelor of Social Work (2005 UQ)
